1. Wait a minute to see if the computer recovers on its own.
2. For a single frozen app, try closing it normally or force-quit only that app.
3. Save any open work and restart the computer.
4. Check for pending operating-system updates and install them.
5. If freezing is frequent, note when it happens and contact IT for deeper checks.
