Initial troubleshooting steps

Turn the printer off and unplug it for safety.
Open the printer cover and remove any visible paper slowly.
Check for torn pieces of paper and remove them carefully.
Reload paper correctly in the tray and avoid overfilling.
Plug the printer back in, turn it on, and try printing again.
